The UAB Neuroscience Graduate Program is a portal into the comprehensive neuroscience research opportunities at UAB. Students entering the Neuroscience Graduate Program will find a home and anchor for their entire graduate experience. Sharday Ewell (Theibert Lab), third year student in the Neuroscience Graduate Program, once again spearheads Brain Awareness Week activities at the McWane Center, March 15-19, 2010. Amy Nelson (McMahon Lab), second year student in the Neuroscience Graduate Program, was featured in an article in The Birmingham News recently, entitled "Early Alzheimer's patients to get benefits faster". In the article, Nelson talks about her father's diagnosis of early-onset Alzheimer's and its effects on the patient and his family. Click here to read more.
